What is an ONS?
ONS stands for One Night Stand: a sexual encounter intended to happen once rather than develop into a committed relationship. It never means skipping communication or safety.
Talk clearly before meeting
Ask what each person wants, whether you will stay in contact, how you will handle protection and which boundaries must not be crossed. Consent must be clear and ongoing.
Make a safety plan
Meet in public first, share your plan with a friend, use STI protection and never send money or identity documents to someone you just met. Leave if you feel unsafe.
